Basketball HERO - A Hero is born every game!

I wrote Basketball HERO two years ago to inspire is younger brother Jordan, a high school junior with aspirations of playing college basketball.   I gave Jordan the book to reinforce lessons of hard work, good nutrition and leadership (on and off the basketball court).  Jordan is now a freshman attending Miles College on a basketball scholarship.  I am very proud of him, but he still can't beat me - it's some kind of mind control....

Basketball HERO debuted last month on amazon.com.  My favorite thing about the book is how it is also a journal making each reader's experience their own.  At the most basic level, Basketball HERO is an easy to read, instructive and inspirational guide to the game of basketball and life. I'm a bit biased but i really think it is an instant classic - a must have for any aspiring athlete or coach.

Thanks to everyone for their love and support and remember "A HERO is born every game"!

Hampton University graduate, Eliot Stiles self-published his first book, Basketball Hero, last week on Amazon.com to promising reviews.  Eliot Stiles is a 2002 graduate of the Political Science Department and a fourth generation Hamptonian. His book, Basketball Hero is a motivational guide to the game of basketball focusing on a champion mindset and character development.

Atlanta, Georgia, March 25, 2012 -- Basketball Hero, The Pursuit of Character and Champions looks to inspire a new generation of basketball hopefuls.  Two years ago, Stiles wrote a book about basketball to inspire is younger brother Jordan, a high school junior with aspirations of playing college basketball.   Stiles gave the book to his brother to reinforce lessons of hard work, good nutrition and leadership.  Jordan is now a freshman attending Miles College on a basketball scholarship.

The original book, “Basketball Diary” was released by Stiles last week on Amazon.com under the title, “Basketball Hero”.  Basketball Hero is just as much a journal as it is a guide.  It is designed to make young ball players focus on the game and their development critically.  The book is unique in that it focuses on one principal of basketball per page and is designed to capture and keep the attention of young women and men.

Eliot Stiles is an attorney in Atlanta, Ga. who volunteers as a coach for several little league teams and sees the game of basketball as a powerful tool to promote self-disciple, hard work and fearlessness.  Basketball Hero is available in electronic format for only $0.99 on amazon.com.  Stiles hopes that Basketball Hero will inspire and teach student-athletes of all ages to become better people on and off the court.  “A hero is born every game” – Eliot Stiles.
